The island of Key West is about has an area of about eight square miles. Most roads are slow and residential, making it the perfect place to ride around on a bike or moped. In order to get around quicker and see the sites, Shelley and I decided to spend a day on a tandem bicycle rented from Eaton Bikes. On our tandem, Shelley and I rode up and down Duval Street near the stores and vendors, down Truman Street, along the docks, in the residential areas, and across the island to the Atlantic beaches. Together, we rode out to the southernmost point at Clarance Higgs Memorial Pier where we stopped to look at the marine life and turquoise waters. We later tried racing some moped riders, but it was no competition. I used the Drift HD on a pole mount to capture the experience, and the footage turned out crisp and smooth. At the end of the day, we were able to drop off our bike just in time to catch the famous Key West sunset. Thank you Drift and Eaton Bikes for making this great day possible!
